WOW! I didn't realize it had been such a long time since I posted. Been a little hectic here with the end of the summer. It's not like there is any significant change for me right now. My guys left for school a few weeks ago. It is fun to hit the local fairs and eat some totally unhealthy fried foods! Our school district and a few others go back to school today and tomorrow. I love it! Summer should not end before Labor Day. I know all the arguments about college classes and testing. The college class argument is moot as far as I am concerned. College students get a full month off at Christmas time as opposed to a week or two for school districts. Plenty of time to catch up!
But that isn't what I wanted to talk about. One of our recent dinner conversations involved toilet paper. I had just gone grocery shopping and each time I do, I pose the question. Is it better to have your toilet paper soft or strong? I can make arguments both ways. My sons will argue for strong for obvious reasons. Some would argue for soft, especially when you are wiping the bottoms of those adorable grandchildren. I have a brand that I prefer. "Mommy" prefers a different brand. Apparently she has researched and found her brand to be of good quality as well as economical. I heartily disagree. I specifically remember buying her brand when the girls were in high school for a slumber party. One of the games was wrapping each other in toilet paper. My house was covered in toilet paper dust from that brand! Like I said, I have my favorite brand and I refuse to change. (I am like that with a lot of things, very "brand" oriented) My question to the company is this: are my choices really limited to soft or strong or sensitive? Really, those are my choices? Why can't I have soft and strong? What about soft and sensitive? Or we could get really crazy and propose soft, strong and sensitive! It would seem to make perfect sense. I do not see how one precludes the other. It would solve my shopping dilemna as well as make me a very happy consumer. I can't be the only one who thinks of these things, or can I?
