Well, sorry I have been absent for a few days. I have been extremely preoccupied with slaying the "Dragon" otherwise known to me as technology. The "Ninja" and my children continue to try to drag me kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. As a result, I end up being quite the source of amusement for the whole gang.
There are more stories to tell about my cell phone than I can relate today, but I promise to throw myself out there often. Suffice to say for now that I never know where it is and that my three year old granddaughters are better at finding things on it than I am. I am quite certain that this phone is capable of saving the free world if I could just learn about all of its secrets. My challenge this week is my computer. The computer people told me that it was "time to put the old dog down." It has been a faithful and dependable dog for over eight years. I resent being forced to alter my life by Microsoft and the loss of support for XP. But alas, I am a victim of the times. So this past weekend I got a new computer and I have been (and by me I mean "The Ninja" because I don't have a clue) getting all my programs transferred, updated, backed up and actually tangled up for the past few days. I get so stressed over this stuff! So anyway, I have been working at this thing and it now takes me twice as long to get my stuff done. Isn't technology wonderful!??! At least I can still keep my string of free cell games going. It is my single goal to win all of them in order. Now if we can just get all these machines to play nice with each other and talk to each other. When "Sake" and "Calvin" couldn't get along I would put them in a chair together and made them hold hands. Guess that won't work here. Besides I would hate to have to listen to my phone complain that my computer has "gross and sweaty hands" which is what "Sake" would claim about "Calvin". Well, at least my job is safe. I cannot imagine any computer wanting my job as "mom". I am sure that dealing with this brood would blow a driver or gasket or the whole motherboard! Special thanks to the "Ninja" for keeping me viable in the real world!

I'm at work laughing rather loudly at the front desk now! Gross and sweaty hands! Love it, love your blog, and love you! (And don't forget that if you run out of blog ideas you could always write about your charming future daughter in law! Haha just kidding!) :-)
