That is a critical question in our house. I think it is a question that exists in families with more than one of child. My gang is currently keeping track of who is written about the most as a gauge for who is the favorite. They also count pictures. When they are at "The Ninja's" house, they count how many pictures she has of each of them. That does not work as a gauge here, because even though I tried not to, I have dozens, no hundreds of pictures of "Mommy". Those numbers decreased with each subsequent child. I had vowed to have an equal number of pictures of each child, and I admit that I failed. I am dimensionally challenged. I spent ten years listening to "Mommy" complain because I only had an 8 x 11 senior picture of her and everyone else had an 11 x 14. I screwed up when I placed the order for "Calvin" and just maintained that size for the rest of the gang. I finally heard enough. Lucky for me, the photographer that we used still had everything on file. Her face now smiles down on me just as big as the rest of the gang. The smile is another issue. I had the first five take more serious pictures, but I bought the smiling one of "The Surprise". I am not going to insult everyone's intelligence by saying that I love all of my children the same. That is virtually impossible and every parent knows it. Worse than that, so does every child!!! I love each of them differently. I have to, because each of them is different. Sometimes they are so different that it is impossible to tell that they were born into the same family. They are different, and I love each of them differently. No cookie cutter kids here! It makes it all pretty interesting. I think I have mentioned before that I often feel schizophrenic. I have to be seven different people to deal with each one. Honestly, they have each held the favorite status at different times and for different reasons. If you ask him, "Pook" will tell you that he is the favorite. In fact, he indeed announces it all the time. The others are now convinced that he is, simply because I remain silent and don't respond when he says it. Actually, he told me to make this a really short blog and just say "Pook" is the favorite. In the meantime, they will continue counting blogs, photos, favorite dinners fixed, gifts, etc. No matter what, I hope they all know ho
